4 Players that should not be in England world cup squad

3. Chris Smalling: The 24-year old central defender has only been average at best in his stint with Manchester United, and a couple of other defenders in Steven Caulker and John Stones have fared better than the former Fulham starlet this season.

4. Phil Jones: Jones has been a handy versatile player for Manchester United, but one cannot help but think that Cardiff City’s Steven Caulker, who has had a top notch season for the Bluebirds, would have been a better backup defender in the squad.

More in form players available than Jones
