Chelsea beat Arsenal this weekend to leave themselves 14 points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, so we thought we would take a look at their chances of firing up the table.
The Blues are between 12/1 (13.0) and 19/1 (20.0) to finish in this season’s top four, which could be worth a bet.
Though some will think you would be better off checking out the top sites for playing Double Bubble slot and having a bit of fun with them, rather than putting too much confidence in the Blues.
Chelsea have enjoyed an upturn in fortunes this term, since Gus Hiddink was appointed manager in December, with the Dutch boss yet to taste defeat.
The Blues have drawn four and won three since the change, but are playing much better football at present, with their win over Arsenal likely to give them a huge confidence boost.
An upturn in fortunes could see them gradually climb up the table, but teams above them will have to struggle also.
One team who could struggle in the coming weeks is Leicester City, who currently sit on top of the Premier League.
They have won only two of their last six matches, but will now have to take on Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal in their next three games.
Three losses could cause havoc for a team’s confidence, although I’m well aware that the majority of neutral football fans will be willing them on to remain at the helm.
The Foxes have the least losses this term however, and if they could manage to come away from the Etihad and the Emirates without losing, the remaining doubters will be forced to take their title push seriously.
Tottenham look well equipped to keep a hold of their place in the Champions League places this year, and are well in the race to win the title also, but their fans will be concentrating on trying to overhaul their neighbours Arsenal first, with only two points between them.
