Liverpool have made contact with Paris Saint-Germain over a potential deal to sign Lucas Moura in January, the Express claims.
The winger is believed to be available for transfer in the coming window, having struggled to hold down a regular starting role in Laurent Blanc’s first-team this season.
Moura arrived for a reported €45 Million record fee for a teenager back in 2012, which was broken this summer by Man United’s £57 Million capture of Anthony Martial.
The Brazilian has so far failed to show he was worth such the expensive splurge, and could be set for an exit, although PSG’s valuation is unclear.
Arsenal and Liverpool are both claimed to be keen on striking a deal for the former Sao Paolo forward, with the latter now said to have made contact with his club over a prospective deal.
The Anfield club could prove tempting for Moura, with Roberto Firmino, Lucas Leiva and Philippe Coutinho already in the ranks, and would be able to help the winger settle on Merseyside, although Arsenal have been more consistent in securing Champions League football over the past decade.
