Arsenal are reported in the DailyStar as having been impressed with Hull City’s Andrew Robinson.
The 20 year-old has been a stand-out performer for Hull this season, despite only moving to the Premier League this summer from Dundee United.
The youngster was released by Celtic five years ago, and later joined Third division side Queens Park. His rise to fame has come thick and fast, having spent only a single season in the Scottish Third Division before signing for Scottish Premiership side Dundee United, followed by a single season before making the step-up again in the English Premier League.
He is already being linked with another upgrade, with Champions League side Arsenal keen on the young Scot.
The Gunners are firmly expected to sign defensive options in the coming window, having had to dig into his reserves to fill his defence on occasion this season. Robinson’s arrival would free up Calum Chambers to concentrate on his central role, with Mathieu Debuchy and the former Dundee United full-back to fight it out for the starting spot.
