The Express is claiming that Arsenal have prepared an offer of £10 Million to sign Jeffrey Schlupp from Leicester City.
The Ghana international has played a key role in Claudio Ranieri’s side this season, helping them keep up the pace for a possible place in Europe for next term.
The Foxes have been a surprise package so far this term, having fought off relegation last year, to currently occupy third in the division, one point off of leaders Manchester City.
A number of their players have come of interest to the top clubs, with Jamie Vardy linked with Liverpool and even Real Madrid for his goalscoring exploits, and Rihad Mahrez said to be on Man United and Arsenal’s wishlist.
The Gunners and Red Devils are also believed to be keen on Schlupp’s arrival, with the former lining up a £10 Million move to sign him in January.
Ranieri has already ruled out transfers for his key players however, saying: “We don’t sell him (Jamie Vardy), he is very happy here. It is too early to speak about it.
“He stays with us – nobody goes in January. Not Riyad Mahrez, not Jeffrey Schlupp, nobody. We want to achieve our goals as soon as possible. We need all our best players.”
