Arsenal strike-target agrees surprise £35M move to Chelsea

Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is claimed in the DailyStar as having agreed a move to Chelsea next summer.

The Uruguayan forward has been heavily linked with a move away from the French giants for some time now, having been regularly used as back-up to favoured striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool all interested.

He recently talked about a possible return to Serie A with Napoli, stating it would be nice to return to where he enjoyed ‘three fanstastic years’, but is now reported to have agreed to join the Premier League champions in the coming summer.

The Blues have struggled this season, and find themselves way down in 15th place in the Premier League, having lost two more matches then they did in their entire title-winning campaign last year.

However this deal is quite hard to believe personally, with transfer talks unlikely to have taken place at this time in the season, unless the French champions have a deal lined up to replace him.
