West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has insisted that contract talks have been productive with Dimitri Payet, amidst much speculation regarding his future.
The French winger has been in spectacular form since joining the Hammers from Marseille this summer, and has even been linked with big money-move in the near future.
A Chinese Super League side was said to be preparing a £38 Million raid for his signature, while both Chelsea and Arsenal have also been linked with trying to tempt him to move across London.
Regardless of the interest in their key asset, Bilic is adamant that he is keen to stay on at Upton Park.
The Boss said: “I think we are very close to Dimitri signing a new contract.
“Both parties have the same intention and that is to stay at West Ham.”
