The Irish Independent is claiming that Chelsea are preparing a £30 Million bid to sign Carlos Bacca from AC Milan.
The striker joined the Italian giants from Seville this summer, despite having fired his former side to win the Europa League last term, therefore earning a place in this term’s Champions League group stage.
AC Milan are said to have paid around £22 Million, and could be set to receive a small profit after only five months with the club.
Bacca has scored nine goals in his 21 appearances this term, and is now set to be the subject of a £30 Million bid by Chelsea.
The Blues have struggled for goals this season, and will be hoping the Colombian could rival Diego Costa for a starting place in the first-team.
Bacca will be available for the club’s Champions League squad, having not played in European competition this term, and could prove vital as Chelsea look to get revenge on Paris Saint-Germain for last term’s knockout on away goals.
Arsenal and Liverpool were both believed to have tried to sign the forward from Seville last summer, before he opted to move to Italy instead.
