Chelsea are claimed in the Metro as lining up a £50 Million bid to sign John Stones from Everton this month.
The centre-back was a key target for the Blues during the summer window, but the Merseyside club stood firm and refused to sell, despite the Stones handing in a transfer request.
Chelsea are now set to return with another bid, believed to be their fourth offer since the end of last season, in hope of landing his signature ahead of the chasing pack.

Everton are claimed to be willing to sell for £50 Million, and the West-London could finally be set to land their target, whilst their own defender Branislav Ivanovic is being lined up by AC Milan.
The Serbian captain is out of contract at the end of the season, and having come under scrutiny this term, is set to be offered a move away from the club this month.
