Chelsea are claimed in the Express as readying a move to sign Javier Pastore from Paris Saint-Germain this January.
The Argentine midfielder moved to the French capital from Palermo in 2011 for a reported €42 Million, and has been a regular first-team player in their side for the majority of his time there.
Reports are now claiming he has fallen down the pecking order following Angel Di Maria’s switch from Manchester United over the summer, with Pastore yet to start a Champions League match, and having started six of PSG’s 10 Ligue 1 fixtures.
The 26 year-old is speculated to be a potential departure from the French champions, and Chelsea are tipped to make an offer for his services.
The Blues have suffered for much of the campaign so far, and have question marks over a host of stars at present, with last season’s Premier League Player of the Year even dropped to the bench this weekend.
Arsenal, Liverpool, Juventus and Inter Milan have also been linked with a move for his signature.
