Adnan Januzaj returned from his failed loan move to Borussia Dortmund this month, and impressed on his return to action, as he starred for the Under-21 side last night.
The 20 year-old picked up only six substitute appearances in the Bundesliga, whilst on loan with the BVB, forcing the Red Devils to cut his season-long loan deal short.
Januzaj will now be hoping to earn some regular football with his parent club, and put strides into that last night, by scoring two against Southampton’s Under-21 side, as well as being involved in the build one of the other two goals.
Man United have been woeful going forward this term, and were lucky to escape Anfield with three points, after Wayne Rooney netted with the club’s first and only shot on target in the match.
Maybe Januzaj could be part of the answer to Louis Van Gaal’s lack of creativity in the final third?
