Paris Saint-Germain’s Lucas Moura has hinted at a potential move to England in the future, TalkSport reports.
The Brazilian joined the French champions from Sao Paulo for a reported €45 Million three years ago, becoming the most expensive teenage signing.
Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson slammed the fee paid for a player who was only 19, before his own club broke that record with this summer’s purchase of Anthony Martial from Monaco.
The Scot was most likely angered with the transfer because he had been attempting to manoeuvre his own capture of Moura, but failed to agree a fee with his Brazilian club.
United are still believed to hold an interest in the now 23 year-old, and will have been boosted by the midfielder’s recent comments.
Moura said:”It is clear that the Premier League is very strong.
“If an opportunity comes later and I no longer have the desire to play here, I would take the decision and I would play for another club.
“I’m happy to generate interest from major European clubs, if the interest exists it shows that people trust me and would count on me.”
Liverpool and Arsenal are also reported to be keen on landing the Brazil international, who could be offloaded as PSG attempt to raise funds toward landing superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer.
