Juventus are keen on signing Paris Saint-Germain’s Ezequiel Lavezzi and Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan in the coming window, according to the Express.
The Italian champions are currently off the pace in Serie A, having stuttered their way through the opening fixtures, and occupy sixth position at present.
Juve are now said to be looking to strengthen their squad with the additions of Gundogan, and Lavezzi, with the latter’s contract set to expire next summer.
Clubs will be allowed to enter into pre-contract negotiations with the Argentine ace from January, but a cut-price deal looks more likely, with PSG believed willing to cash-in, in favour of losing the 30 year-old for free six months later.
Arsenal. Tottenham and Liverpool have also been linked with moves for the former Napoli forward.
The Gunners and Merseyside club have also been linked with the Dortmund midfielder also, and could battle with the Italians on both fronts.
The Reds are unable to offer Champions League football, but the opportunity to work under new manager Jurgen Klopp could prove attractive.
