Football Italia reports that Sassuolo striker Domenico Berardi is being targeted by a host of top European clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona and Juventus.
The 21 year-old was co-owned by Juventus previously, but they sold their share of his ownership, but were clever in including a buy-back clause in the deal, which is believed to be set at £13 Million.
Berardi has scored 33 Serie A goals for Sassuolo since helping them get promoted to the top tier as Serie B champions in 2013.
The Italy Under-21 is yet to be included in a squad for the senior side, but he is behind a wealth of top strikers currently, including Mario Balotelli, Graziano Pelle, Antonio Cassano, Ciro Immobile, Simone Zaza and Lorenzo Insigne.
The Italian champions remain favourites for his signature, but he may struggle to break into the first-team there, with Paulo Dybala, Zaza, Mario Mandzukic and Alvaro Morata currently vying for a starting role.
The wages would certainly be tempting in England, and with Rooney struggling, maybe a switch to Old Trafford could look promising, with the chance to join up in attack with the exciting Anthony Martial.
