The Metro is claiming that Jurgen Klopp has told his Liverpool hierarchy to make efforts to sign Marc Andre-Stegen from Barcelona.
The 23 year-old is said to be unsettled at the Nou Camp currently, having been forced to share his first-team responsibilities with Claudio Bravo so far this term.
The German international has featured in less than 50% of the clubs 10 La Liga matches this season, despite having been fully fit sine the start of the term, and could be tempted away from his club.
Liverpool’s new manager Klopp is claimed to have been unconvinced by Simon Mignolet and Adam Bogdan in goal, and is hoping his club can secure a deal for his signature.
Ter Stegen has a £56.7 Million release clause in his current deal, which may be more than the club are willing to shell out, but a deal might be able to be struck if he continues to fall behind Claudio Bravo in the pecking order.
