The Metro are reporting that Liverpool have agreed an £11.28 Million fee with Corinthians for Alexandre Pato.
The 26 year-old had been in talks with Tianjin Quanjian, where he was offered a lucrative contract, but he now appears to be closing on a move to the Premier League instead.
Alfredo Pedulla, an Italian journalist, has revealed that Liverpool have agreed a £11.28 fee with his current club, which could now see him get his desired return to Europe this month.
Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea had previously all been linked with moves for the forward, with Pato even being spotted at Stamford Bridge last month.
The Brazilian was extremely highly rated on the continent previously, highlighted by being awarded the Golden Boy award in 2009, while impressing for AC Milan.
Pato then suffered a series of injuries which hampered his progress, before returning to his homeland in hope of a return to form and fitness.
The forward has succeeded in doing just that, having scored 28 goals in all competitions in 2015.
