Liverpool looking to beat rivals Arsenal to land Klopp’s second signing

The Express claims that Liverpool are ready to challenge Arsenal for Lucas Moura signature next month.

The Anfield club looks set to complete Marko Grujic’s signature this week, with the Serbian set to undertake his medical ahead of his proposed move from Red Star Belgrade.

Liverpool are now looking to pursue a deal to bring Brazilian Moura in from Paris Saint-Germain, with the midfielder struggling to nail down a first-team role currently.

Moura has completed the full 90 minutes in only two Ligue one matches this season, but has been selected to start in 13 of the 19 played so far this term.

Arsenal have been linked with a move for the former record teenage signing.

PSG paid a reported €45 Million to bring the skilled youngster from Sao Paolo as a 19 year-old, but is yet to fully live up to his potential.

Moura is under contract until 2019, but his club have been claimed to be looking to free up funds for a big transfer move in the summer.
