The DailyStar claims that Manchester City are in talks with Real Madrid over a possible deal to sign Isco this month.
The Spaniard has struggled to nail own a regular starting role under Rafa Benitez this season, and is being linked with a potential exit in the current window.
Isco has started only 11 of his side’s 17 Primera Liga matches, and with the European Championships coming up this summer, will be eager to cement more regular football prior to the tournament.
Manchester City are now said to be talking to his club about a possible move to the Premier League, with the Sky Blues hierarchy confident of completing a £35 Million transfer.
Isco worked with current City manager Manuel Pellegrini at Malaga before making the switch to the Spanish capital, and could also be keen on teaming up with international team-mates Jesus Navas and David Silva.
Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked with the 23 year-old, but seem to have fallen behind in their pursuits.
