Rangers looking good to complete the double next season

Scottish side Glasgow Rangers might have been forced to start over from Scottish Football League Three, following the liquidation of their assets, but their blazing qualification for the Division Two certainly hints at more spectacular performances to come from the Light Blues.

Rangers won 25 of their 36 encounters last season, drawing 8 and losing 3 to emerge as winners of Division Three and the same is expected from them this coming season when they take on the Division two teams.

Alongside arch rivals Celtic, Rangers have been one of the most successful clubs in the history of Scottish Football and despite having lost out on a number of big names following their relegation to the third division, the club still looks set to make a strong comeback to the Scottish Premier League in the next couple of seasons.

Paddy Power is offering odds of 1.83 on them winning not just the Division 2 title this season, but also coming away with the Ramsdens Cup. Rangers lost the Ramsdens Cup last season to eventual winners Queen of the South, and will expect to do a lot better this year. They open their campaign against Albion Rovers on Sunday.
