Barcelona are claimed in the DailyStar as looking at signing Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.
The Catalan club have been linked with the Brazilian playmaker for much of the season, while Real Madrid have also been claimed to be ready to spend £22.1 Million on his capture.
That fee would surely not be enough to tempt the Anfield club to allow one of their key players to leave however, especially as the club tied the midfielder down to a new five-year deal only in February of this year.
Coutinho has been the club’s stand-out performer in recent seasons, earning the interest of a number of top European clubs, and it looks like he is set to be the subject of a move by Barca, who are set to have their transfer ban end in the coming window.
The club have been unable to register any new players since the summer of 2014, and are expected to make an effort to sign players this winter.
