Tottenham Hotspur are said to be readying a £15 Million bid for West Brom’s Saido Berahino, according to the Sun.
The 21 year-old scored in the first-leg of England Under-21’s Euro 2015 play-off against Croatia Under-21, helping his side take a 2-1 lead into the away leg on Tuesday.
The young striker partnered current Spurs youngster Harry Kane in attack, and even set-up the Spurs forward with a very well positioned cross which Kane headed home. The North-London club now aim to pair them together in their own line-up after both of them found the net against a very well organised Croatia side.
Berahino has scored five goals in his six goals in his nine appearances for the Brummies so far this season, and was being tipped for a call-up to the England senior team, before narrowly missing out.
Alan Irvine said recently that he would wish his sides top goalscorer well should he earn a move to a top side in the future, and his performances of late are making the top clubs sit up and take notice.
