West Bromwich Albion boss Alan Irvine has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur will need to up their revised bid in order to sign his key man, the DailyMail reports.
Spurs are currently linked with a £15 Million bid for Saido Berahino, which is nowhere near the clubs valuation, the manager claimed.
The Scottish manager claimed that Ross McCormack recently moved for £11 Million, and that the England Under-21 star is valued much more than £4 Million higher than the Fulham striker.
Irvine said: ‘It doesn’t sound a lot. I would be absolutely astonished if anyone could sign Saido from us for £15 Million.
‘You look at some of the fees going around in the transfer market that’s just been, everybody seems to start at £7 Million.
‘Ross McCormack went for £11 Million Championship to Championship. What the right figure is I have absolutely no idea and I wouldn’t make the decision as far as that was concerned.
The West Brom top goalscorer has been a stand-out performer this season, having scored five Premier League goals in his seven appearances, and even came off the bench to score the winner against Hull in the Capitol One Cup.
Berahino has also been starring for the England Under-21’s, who just qualified for the UEFA Under-21 Championships next summer. The West Brom youngster has bagged 10 goals in his 13 appearances for his England U21 side, and is has been enjoying a successful spell partnering current Spurs forward Harry Kane for the side.
