Unconfirmed Man United boss Mourinho eyeing triple raid on former club

Jose Mourinho is claimed to be eyeing three Real Madrid stars to bring to Old Trafford, should he come in to replace Louis Van Gaal this summer.

The Portuguese manager has been heavily linked with the Manchester United job, having parted ways with Chelsea in December, and with their current charge failing to impress.

The Red Devils currently sit in fifth position in the league, six points behind neighbours Manchester City in fourth.

Mourinho is now claimed to be setting his potential targets for if he is given the role for next season, and is looking to raid Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The self-acclaimed ‘Special One’ is hoping to lure former players Luka Modric, Raphael Varane and Gareth Bale to Manchester, with the trio having all been linked with a move to Old Trafford previously.

The former two were both signed while Mourinho was in charge at the Bernabeu previously, and both became important players for the club during his reign.
