The Metro is claiming that Arsenal are ready to rival Monaco in their bid to sign Charley Musonda from Chelsea.
The midfielder is one of the brightest talents in the Premier League champions academy, but is yet to make his senior debut for his club.
Musonda impressed in helping his side to win the UEFA Youth League last season, and is now being targeted for a move to Monaco.
The French giants are said to be willing to offer him a role in the first-team squad, a luxury he is not currently experiencing with his current club.
Arsenal are now said to be looking to rival any move by the French club, with Musonda said to be valued at around £10 Million.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has earned a place in Chelsea’s first-team squad this season, having enjoyed an impressive run in the team at the end of the last campaign, once the Blues had already wrapped up the league title.
