Arsenal manager spotted watching targets in PSG v Leicester match-up

Arsene Wenger is claimed to have been present at the Paris Saint-Germain versus Leicester City match during the International Champions Cup yesterday, reigniting rumours for a number of targets.

The main one in recent weeks has been the club’s reported interest in signing Riyad Mahrez from the Foxes, after he was exceptional in Leicester’s meteoric rise to Premier League glory last term.

The Algerian is said to have been the main reason for the Frenchman to have been at their match yesterday, as he seeks to add two more players before the summer window shuts at the end of August.

But in my humble opinion, you would be better off trying your luck at winning the jackpot on this site than believing you will be bringing the PFA Player of the Year to North-London this summer.

Arsene is more likely to be eyeing a new striker and centre-back to add this summer, and Edinson Cavani rumours are also expected in the coming days, but the striker is heavily expected to stay with his current club now, especially with Zlatan Ibrahimovic no longer in the squad to keep him from his preferred central role.

Another Arsenal-linked player who started the match was Ben Chilwell, who had been tipped as a possible replacement for Kieran Gibbs, who had been claimed as keen to leave the Emirates in search of regular first-team action.

Do any of you still believe Mahrez could leave Leicester for Arsenal?
