Arsenal are preparing a bid to sign Grzegorz Krychowiak in the January transfer window, the Star claims.
The Gunners have been keeping tabs on the Sevilla star for some time now, and are finally ready to make their move to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
Krychowiak was the only player from his team to be nominated a place in the La Liga Team of the Year for last year, as he helped his side to win the Europa League, therefore helping his side to earn a place in the current Champions League campaign.
Manchester City are now said to be taking an interest in the midfielder, with the club having scouted Sevilla ahead of their recent win in the CL group stages.
The 25 year-old recently scored a screamer in the Euro 2016 crunch match against the Republic of Ireland, earning his country an automatic place in next summer’s tournament.
The Gunners are looking to beat their league rivals to his signature in Janaury, and could be set to match his release clause of £21 Million to do so.
