The Metro claims that Arsenal are willing to pay more than the asking price for Marcelo Brozovic.
The midfielder is currently on loan with Inter Milan, but the Serie A leaders are claimed to be willing to pay the pre-agreed £8 Million before selling him on for the right price.
That price is said to be £11.9 Million, and the Gunners are keen on his signature.
Arsenal are said to be willing to spend up to £13.7 Million in order to push through a move, having attempted to land the player prior to his switch to Inter in January.
The 23 year-old is mainly selected to play in a box-to-box role, but is believed to be equally adept to playing anywhere across the midfield.
Brozovic has scored three goals in his 26 Serie A appearances since joining at the start of the year, but when playing in a more advanced position for the Croatia Under-21 side previously, he netted seven in seven in trying to help his side qualify for the U-21 European Championship.
