Barcelona are claimed in the Express as being interested in signing Chelsea’s Diego Costa.
The Blues striker enjoyed a thoroughly impressive debut campaign last term, scoring 20 goals in 26 Premier League outings.
Costa is yet to get into top gear this term, but his team has all round struggled to click in all fairness.
Chelsea sit down in 15th position in the league, and the axe is currently held over Jose Mourinho, who is said to be set for the sack if he fails to pick up any points at home to Liverpool at the weekend.
The Brazilian is also claimed to be unsettled currently, and is said to be missing Spain, which could play into the hands of Barcelona.
The Catalan giants have been banned from registering any new players since the summer of 2014, but will be allowed to come January, and are claimed to be keen on Diego, with his impetus to battle with defenders an attractive attribute to boss Luis Enrique.
His arrival would be a strange one however, with Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez already starring up front.
