Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has had scouts keep an eye on Paris Saint-Germain duo Christopher Nkunku and Lamine Ba, the Express claims.
The German manager has recently been installed in the place of Brendan Rodgers, and is expected to make some changed during the winter window.
Klopp is claimed to have sent scouts to watch the UEFA Youth League match between PSG and Real Madrid last week, which the French youngsters won 4-1, including a brace by Nkunku, who was being targeted.
Ba also impressed in the heart of defence as the Spaniards were taken apart, as PSG Youth maintained their position at the top of the table at the mid-way point.
The midfielder has already spoken out about his hopes of landing a professional deal with his current club, despite revealing talks had not been held over a permanent contract as of yet.
Nkunku said: “I am at PSG. This is the club where I developed. I am going to do everything I can to sign a professional contract here.”
When asked if he’s already talked with PSG over a deal, he added: “No, it has not yet been a topic that we have discussed together. But if it is supposed to happen, it will happen.”
The French champions may want to consider their position on the matter with interest hotting up, especially with Klopp a manager a number of players are hopeful of working with.
