Man United and Arsenal on alert as defensive target eyes January move

Juventus defender Daniele Rugani is looking for a move in the coming window, the Express claims.

The 20 year-old has hardly featured at all since the start of the season, with his only appearance coming from the bench in the 89th minute against Sevilla in the Champions League.

Rugani is now said to be looking to leave in January, as he looks to gain more regular first-team action.

The Juventus defender has spent the last two seasons on loan with Empoli in Serie A, where he features 81 times for the club, and impressed so much so that he was included in Italy’s first-team squad for two matches, although he remained on the bench for both.

Arsenal are claimed to lining up a bid of £13 Million for his signature, but they are likely to be rivalled by Manchester United, Fiorentina and Napoli, who are also keen.

Rugani is under contract in Turin until 2020, and the Old Lady will be under no pressure to allow a permanent exit for their young star.
