Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal has revealed he is looking to bring in some pace out wide in the coming window, the Mail reports.
The Red Devils have been lacking in the attacking department this season, and have failed to score in three of their last five matches.
United boss Van Gaal has now claimed he is looking to sign some speedsters to his wings, claiming that his current widemen Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard are not the fastest.
Both players scored in the weekend’s 2-0 win over West Brom, but will not be pleases with their manager’s choice words following the match.
LVG said: ‘I have said already in my first year many times we need speed and creativity on the wings.
‘You have seen that now we play with Jesse Lingard and he is not the most speedy winger in the world and (Juan) Mata is also not the most speedy winger in the world.
‘So first we must first address that problem.
‘I want to buy a lot of players but not all the players I want are for sale,’ he explained.
‘So there are a lot of factors in it.’
United were linked with moves to sign Nicolas Gaitan from Benfica, Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale and Southampton’s Saido Mane, although they did manage to bring in Memphis Depay from PSV, who has lost his place in the first-team of late.
