Manchester United are winning the race to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic next summer, according to the Metro.
The Swedish superstar is out of contract at the end of the season, and is apparently being lined up to join David Beckham’s brand new franchise in the MLS.
His side do not enter the division until 2017 however, and Arsenal and Man United are expected to try and lure the goalscorer to England before he goes on his American adventure.
Zlatan’s wages are said to be outside of the Gunners limits, which is expected to play into the hands of the Red Devils, who are more than able to meet his high salary.
United failed to bring in a senior striker this summer, despite the exits of Radamel Falcao and Robin Van Persie, but 19 year-old Anthony Martial has adapted quickly to take some of the flack off of Wayne Rooney, who has struggled in front of goal.
