Manchester United are looking to agree a deal to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Paris Saint-Germain, the Telegraph reports.
The Red Devils have struggled in the goalscoring department in recent weeks, scoring in only two of their last five matches, and are expected to bring in some firepower in the coming window.
United are said to be looking at signing Zlatan from the French champions, although he is unlikely to be allowed to leave during the winter, but will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season, with pre-contract talks allowed from the turn of the year.
The 34 year-old has scored nine goals in his eight Ligue 1 matches so far this season, bringing his tally to 84 league goals in 99 appearances since joining PSG back in 2012.
Manchester United are said to be readying a deal to bring him to Old Trafford, although they are likely to receive competition from American MLS sides, as well as rivals Arsenal, who have also been linked with a move for his signature.
