Man United set to beat Arsenal to highly-coveted Belgian wonderkid

Manchester United are claimed in the DailyStar as leading the race to sign Charly Musonda from Chelsea FC.

The 19 year-old was an integral part of the Blues side which won UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup glory last season, and is expected to have a bright future in the game.

Despite his huge promise, Musonda is yet to be called up to the senior squad, and is believed to be growing ever frustrated at his lack of match practice.

The Belgium Under-21 midfielder signed a new four-year contract with the West-London outfit in March, and is claimed to be available for around £10.6 Million.

Arsenal, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco are all credited with an interest, but it is Manchester United who are believed to be ahead of the pack.

The Red Devils boss Louis Van Gaal is said to be keen on leaving a legacy of young stars when he steps down as manager at the end of next season, and Musonda’s capture would fit nicely into that category.

  1. In the past it was clear that Manchester United are a richer club and winning the Championship most of the past season , but now thing have changed a little bit they are no more the champion and Arsenal have more money than the past , so Wenger should make some effort to change the picture he has presented that arsenal is a poor club
