Manchester United’s Sir Alex Ferguson has tipped Leicester City to wrap up the Premier League title with three matches to spare, while naming N’Golo Kante as player of the season.
The Red Devils have dropped tamely out of the title race, while the Foxes have steered themselves clear of all challengers, and hold a five-point lead over their nearest rivals.
Sir Alex Ferguson has now tipped the club to win the league with three games to spare, before they have to endure three tough ties with Manchester City, Chelsea and Everton.
SAF was asked about Leicester’s chances at a pre-Cheltenham festival lunch, and he opened up about his belief in them winning the PL.
“Of course they can [win it], I believe they will win with three games to spare.”
He also named N’Golo Kante as player of the season, Steve Walsh as the most influential person on the English division, and tipped West Ham to sneak into the top four.
