Sergei Rebrov has revealed he has no say in whether Andriy Yarmolenko stays at the club, despite wanting him to stay, the Star reports.
The winger signed a new five-year contract this year, but is keen to seal a move to a bigger club in the near future.
Both Chelsea and Everton have been linked with moves for the 26 year-old, with bids of £15 Million having been speculated in the media.
His manager Rebrov has now revealed that he has absolutely no power in trying to keep his current star, claiming it is in the hands of the club’s president Ihor Surkis.
The former Tottenham player said: “He’s a very high-level footballer but we do not build our game around him.
“I can see his progress and that other teams are interested in him but it all depends on his relationship with the president.
“If you are asking me then I don’t want to sell the player, I want to keep him in the team but, at the end of the day, it’s all about the relationship with the president.”
Current Everton and former Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku meanwhile has been slapped with a £45 Million asking price, following interest from European giants Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain in recent months.
The Belgian made the move from the West-London club back in 2013, originally on loan, before completing a £28 Million switch in the summer of 2014.
