Positive transfer news as Chelsea receive double-boost

Chelsea fans will be happy with the latest reports doing the rounds, with the Mail claiming that neither Real Madrid or Barcelona are prioritising Eden Hazard’s arrival, while Roman Abramovich is pushing to sign Antoine Griezmann.

The Belgian star has recently been said to be keen on a move next summer, with Real having been claimed to be keen on signing him.

Hazard has been a shadow of the player he showed the world last season, although the majority of his team-mates have also struggled to show their true colours.

The club are now looking to bring in a big signing to freshen up the squad, and owner Abramovich is looking to bring in another star from Atletico Madrid in Griezmann.

The 24 year-old shined in his debut campaign with the club last year, becoming the highest scoring Frenchman in a La Liga season ever, with 22 goals.

The Spanish giants agreed a new contract with the forward, increasing his release clause to £47 Million, but the Blues chief will not be put of by such demands.
