Tom Ince has become the latest name to be linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers as the player seeks a return to the Premier League, reports Sky Sports. Ince, who is the son of former Manchester United player and England international, Paul, has been tipped as one of England’s brightest talents.
The player spent the last half of last season on loan away from Bloomfield Road at Crystal Palace. Under Tony Pulis he impressed at times, and disappointed at others. But, what the player is desperate for is an extended run in a Premier League first team. He could get that at QPR.
Harry Redknapp is attempting to build a squad that will retain top-flight status next year. So far he has been linked with a series of his former players as QPR search for experience. The likes of Rio Ferdinand and Scott Parker had been rumoured as targets for the club. However, the emphasis with Ince is definitely a youthful one.
The player is still just 22, and he will provide the Hoops with pace and technical ability in the wide positions. Largely because of his overriding Championship status, Ince was not even in contention for a spot within Roy Hodgson’s World Cup squad, but he will be looking for a switch that could get him noticed ahead of Euro 2016.
The player has already turned down an opportunity to follow in his father’s footsteps and join Inter Milan, as he looks determined to feature for a Premier League outfit.
