Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic has again stalled on signing a new contract with his current club, the Express reports.
The Slovenian international has been in outstanding form this season, helping his side to sit joint-top of the Serie A table with seven clean sheets in the opening 11 league fixtures this term.
Handanovic has shut-out Juventus, Roma and city rivals AC Milan so far this season, helping his side to pick up 24 points out of a possible 33 so far.
The shotstopper has been in talks with his club since May, over an extension to his current deal, which expires at the end of the season.
The 31 is said to have negotiated a pay-rise up to £1.8 Million per season, but is now claimed to have stalled on signing due to his and his team’s current form.
Handanovic is in want of a new addition to his contract, which will see him receive a bonus should he help his side to win the Serie A title.
Manchester United have been linked with a move for the in-form man over the past year, with their current number one David De Gea being linked with the exit door.
