Spanish giants considering world-record fee for Chelsea star

Real Madrid are claimed in the Express as putting in the ground-work for a move to sign Eden Hazard.

Los Blancos believe they may have to pay more than the £85 Million world-record fee they previously paid for Welsh superstar Gareth Bale, in order to secure the Belgian’s signature, which is worrying them currently.

Hazard signed a new contract with Chelsea earlier in 2015, tying him to the club until 2020, which means the Blues will be under no pressure to sell from that point of view, despite claims the star wants to leave the club.

The 24 year-old is claimed to have told his club and international team-mates that he is eager to switch clubs, having been speculated to be of interest to Real Madrid.

It has also been claimed that the Spanish giants will only move for Hazard should they agree the sale of Ballon D’Or nominee Cristiano Ronaldo, who is linked with Paris Saint-Germain or a return to Manchester United.
