Tottenham Hotspur are expected to launch a bid to sign Alexandre Pato from Corinthians in the coming days, the Metro claims.
The Brazilian striker was a big name in Europe previously, enjoying an exciting opening few years with AC Milan in Serie A.
Pato unfortunately succumbed to a series of injuries between 2011 and 2013, and struggled to break back into the side on a regular basis in the 2013-14 season, before moving returning to Brazil.
The 26 year-old has since found his feet whilst on-loan with Sao Paolo, from Corinthians, scoring 27 league goals over the past 18 months.
His parent club are now looking to cash-in on their asset, who is impressing with their rivals, and have slapped an £18 Million asking price on his head, alerting a host of potential suitors.
Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham are all believed to be taking an interest, but it is the latter who are now preparing to make their move, as they look to bolster their attacking options.
